Samuel 1;19-27 (King James Version)

In days of old, when one's word meant something; when holding a position of trust and responsibility meant probity and honesty it was generally accepted that those inhabiting the two Houses of Parliament were respected - held in awe almost.

Peter Oborne, writing in the Mail, 'nails' Miliband (D) to the proverbial cross in providing 6 instances of lying. This example yet again prompts the question of who has the greater contempt for the other, where politicians and people are involved. It is also worth noting that this is the man who seeks the leadership of his party and hopes, eventually, to become Prime Minister.

How are the mighty fallen - indced!
