Reuters reports that Gordon Brown is saddened by the continued imprisonment of Aung San Suu Kyi and is quoted as saying that this decision is politically motivated to prevent her taking part in planned elections.
Er......was not the decision Brown took to deny the British electorate a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty - aka the EU Constitution - not a politically motivated decision?
Another example of 'joined-up government thinking'?
