The Independent is trailing the 'demands', four in all, that young Cleggy is making as a condition of support should a hung parliament ensue from the forthcoming general election.
Of the three, one is intriguing and that is: what does "a switch to a greener economy less dependent on financial services" actually mean?
Interesting that the LibDems have 'Nick(ed)' another long-standing policy of the UK Independence Party with their wish to raise the tax threshold to £10,000!
As to Cleggy's idea for a change in the voting system - which would presumably have some element of PR involved - the last election held in Britain, using a system other the FPTP, resulted in his party trailing in fourth place and the UK Independence Party coming second. Way to go, Cleggy!
