A Winner For Statement Of The Week

In a feature article, Bryony Gordon 'does' Michael Winner and in this, one quotation stood out as pithy but true. Reminded that he turned from the Conservatives in 1997 to Blair and musing that Gordon Brown is not a bad human being, rather a plodder with zilch charisma - when considering his voting options now, he then said this:

"And then David Cameron... well I'm not holding my breath for him. I think he's a lightweight. He's a tailor's dummy with a voicebox."

And the view from Conservative Home? Silence!*
