Are UKIP Serious?

The Albion Alliance campaign is progressing, with not only the moderators writing to all candidates but also constituents writing and forwarding copies of all correspondence to the Albion Alliance for inclusion on the correspondence pages of their website.

One constituent has advised the Albion Alliance that "Also with the good response you have had from UKIP candidates I have also emailed Dr Julia Reid (UKIP) again. I did get a verbal response to my original email, but she came a'calling one evening to tell me she wouldn't be signing because the leadership told her she shouldn't."

Now as a member of UKIP I find that response from a candidate from the party I support, beyond belief - that the leadership told her she shouldn't? So those candidates that have signed the pledge have done so against instructions? One of the stated aims of the Albion Alliance, whose campaign is non-political, is to ensure that the public have access to a database which shows those candidates, irrespective of party, who believe the 'reneged' referendum should be given to the electorate, something which UKIP is actively campaigning for.

WTF is going on here??? Lord Pearson???

Maybe it is just a case of 'keep your friends close but your enemies closer' it has been known to happen before.
