On Newsnight last night Jeremy Paxman introduced his guests (4) as "spokesmen for the three main parties and UKIP".
Wow, Jeremy! And UKIP! Pity you did not allow David Campbell-Bannerman the time afforded to the Cons and LibDems!
Interesting debate though - even if the Lib/Lab/Con would not admit that they cannot control immigration from within the EU, nor deport those who are 'undesirable'. Notably, although the question did not arise, neither did any of the Lib/Lab/Con discuss their inability to deport those 'undesirables' that we have living amongst us. Overall, the paucity of the Lib/Lab/Con policies really did 'shine through'!
