A Second Chance?

The BBC reports that David Chaytor says that he is the victim of "selective reporting and outlandish claims" by the media in respect of criminal charges over his expenses" and that "After all these months of selective reporting and outlandish claims, I now look forward to explaining the details of my case to the authorities."

Chaytor obviously means those 'details' he omitted, or forgot, to 'explain' to Legg and the Police first time round! This had better be good or else no doubt there will be a charge of wasting the Court's time?
