It Really Is A Yoke After All

Much has been made in the media about our future inability to sell eggs by the dozen, or half-dozen, as a result of EU 'regulations'.

Thankfully one can rely on Richard North, EU Referendum, to debunk what is a 'Euromyth' and show up what is yet another example of crap media reporting, the author of which who had not bothered to check his/her facts.

In his post Richard writes about 'horizontal labelling provisions' and 'vertical marketing legislation' - to which one can only hope that, assuming all Eurocrats can read, it does not then matter whether, along with the British Lion, the words "F*** Off" are stamped top-to-bottom or left-to-right!

I'd try diagonally.

You say stamped from top to bottom, by top do you mean the bigger or the smaller end? Depending on how you break your eggs the writing could be harder to read one way than the other - all very confusing. Perhaps we need legislation to tell us which end is which ;-)

So we adopt MW's suggestion of diagonal stamping......?

I know, I know, TBF - so we still then need legislation to decide which side of the bloody egg.........
