Leonard Cohen

Goodnight Vienna posts 'Why' by Leonard Cohen to which one commenter comments that it is  music to commit suicide to.

Cohen wrote what can only be considered 'love songs', of which 'Dance me to the end of love' is one.

Dance me to the end of love - if only!

Lovely choice WfW.

Suicide? Nah.

“If your life is a leaf that the seasons tear off and condemn
they will bind you with love that is graceful and green as a stem”

That's beauty.

I love it. I was a LC fan in the early days of Songs from a room and Songs of love and hate, but I lost touch, and I have only recently been listening to his later stuff. Fabulous - I will be following this one up. Thank you.

You and 'Bugger' missed the point Mr Witterings but thanks for posting this version of Dance Me - I enjoyed it very much.
